Thanks for our great conversation on green career pathway barriers and solutions at the January 2024 Session co-hosted by the Minneapolis Health Department Green Careers Pathways Program and CPED Minneapolis Employment and Training Program. THANKs so much for sending us for good work your group could do over the next three years with additional EPA funding to potentially be included in the grant and meeting to develop our action teams.
Let’s expand green job access during implementation of the Minneapolis Climate Equity Plan! We sent in our 20mm EPA CPRG grant. However the grant program was not continued and so our application was not reviewed.
Let’s look for new ways to implement all the great ideas we brainstormed on Jan 31 to get more folks trained and hired to become home energy auditors, Weatherization Techs, HVAC Techs, electrical/solar, Green Construction and Home Energy Navigators.
RCC, Youthprise and Sabathani are developing a Collaborative EPA Community Change Grant we sent in in Sept of 2024.
