Multifamily Energy Efficiency – RCC and Phillips West have launched a new outreach pilot project, with support from the Minneapolis Partnership Engagement Fund

Phillips Green Connections: Engaging Phillips Buildings and Empowering Tenants
Tenants in over 30 multi-family buildings in Phillips will benefit from improved comfort and lower utility costs as owners make energy efficiency upgrades like high-efficiency boilers and renters learn how to read their energy bills and take simple steps to save energy. Supported by Resilient Cities and Communities (RCC), Phillips-West Neighborhood Organization (PWNO), and other partners, this work uses Green Cost Share and 4d incentives to promote healthier, more affordable housing. Neighborhood Livability Workshops will bring together tenants, building owners, and neighbors to plan for cleaner, safer, more connected communities. This initiative advances the City’s goals for equitable housing, climate resilience, and inclusive engagement that empowers residents to shape their neighborhoods.
