  • The House passed the bipartisan plan Friday night and Biden said Saturday he will hold a signing ceremony when lawmakers return from a week’s recess.

A fact sheet released in August by the White House detailed the likelihood that Minnesota would see billions from the Republican and Democratic penned legislation including $4.5 billion for highways, $302 million for bridge repairs and replacement and more than $818 million over five years for public transportation.

Roads and Bridges – In MN: $4.5 billion for federal-aid highway apportioned programs, $302 million focused on bridges.

Public Transit – In MN: About $818 million to improve our public transportation

Passenger and Freight Rail – In MN: No projected funding.

Electric Vehicles – In MN: About $68 million for an electric vehicle charging network.

Internet Access – In MN: about $100 million

Electric Grid – In MN: No projected funding.

Airports – In MN: About $297 million

Water and Waste Water – In MN: $680 million over five years to improve water infrastructure
