Hennepin County is developing a climate action plan with initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strategies to adapt to our changing climate in ways that reduce vulnerabilities and ensure a more equitable and resilient Hennepin County.
The climate action plan will serve as the foundation for the county’s coordinated approach to planning, policy development, and responses to climate change.

Learn about the plan, provide feedback, and share your priorities
We are holding online discussions with community partners to get feedback on the climate action plan, learn about impacts your organization and your community have experienced from climate change, and hear your priorities for a climate-friendly future.
The meeting will be an opportunity to learn about and provide feedback on: (1) The county’s priorities for an impactful climate action plan and (2) Findings from the county’s vulnerability and greenhouse gas emissions assessment
Climate strategies identified by the county’s climate action planning team that will serve as a foundation for the county to advance a coordinated response to climate change
